To JUST SIMPLY BELIEVE ALL THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT AN EASY THING TO DO.

After all, there are plenty of logical questions that you may have. Some of the more common ones may include:

  • How do I know this is what the Bible really says?
  • How do I know if the Bible is even true?
  • How do I know Jesus really died for all of my sins?
  • How do I know if Jesus is even real?
  • How do I know if God even exists?

These and many others are certainly valid questions to ask. And God certainly doesn’t mind you asking. As a matter of fact, He wants you to ask. “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Luke 11:9). This verse has often been quoted to mean that God is willing to give us whatever we ask for. Although it is true God desires to give us the things we need, this is not what He is saying here. In the context of this passage God is specifically referring to finding and receiving His Holy Spirit (verse 13). What God is simply saying is this. If you truly seek me, you will find me.

You see, God is certainly able to give you the faith to believe in Him. And He desires to do just that. As we earnestly seek Him through prayer, and the reading of His Word, God will begin to open our eyes to the truth of the Bible. If you really want to know the answers to the questions above - start reading the Bible today. Ask God to guide you in understanding what His Word really says. Pray to Him everyday and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Some helpful tips - in case you’re interested. Start by reading the Gospel of John. It’s the fourth book in the New Testament. Find a local church were the Bible is taught and studied (ask God for guidance in this). Be patient - God will reveal Himself to you, but it probably won’t happen overnight. Be diligent. If you do these things I'm confident that you too will come to the conclusion that Jesus really is “the way and the truth and the life”.

Hope to see you in Heaven.
